The Birth of Venus (Homage to Botticelli)

This oil is my personal homage to Botticelli — a respectful dialogue with his language and sense of beauty. I revisit his iconography through my own gaze, recognising the poetic force of his composition and the lasting power of the myth. The work is born of that admiration: a way of thanking what his painting still teaches us.
